The History of YouTube

Music videos, movie trailers, blogging videos, TV show clips, funny videos and much more. Where can we find all this? Of course, on YouTube. And I wonder. Is there still someone who doesn't use YouTube? Huh? Okay, most of us use it. But have you ever wondered how and who created it? Let's answer some questions together.

YouTube was created in 2005 by three former PayPal employees. Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim.  A year later, these inventors became millionaires. They sold YouTube for $1.65 billion to the search engine Google. Maybe if they waited a little longer, they could all be a billionaire.  Anyway!

These inventors did not content themselves with making a millionaire. They also made other people rich in the future. Yes, today there are thousands of people who make serious money on Youtube. Even millions. Can you imagine? There are people who make money even in their daily life videos.

What was the First Video Posted on YouTube?

Perhaps this is the most interesting thing about YouTube? Jawed Karim ( co-founder of YouTube ) was the first person ever to post a video on YouTube, a 19-second video of his visit to the elephant exhibit at the San Diego Zoo. This video was recorded by his high school friend Yakov Lapitsky. Let's take a look at this video.

Youtube is the second most visited site in the world. (There is always YouTube on an extra tab. That's Why) The most visited site is Google.
